In Rasa – The Arts Centre there are number of students learning Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, classical & devotional music exploring their talents & finding deeper fulfillment by the experience of these Art forms.
Most of the students have normal needs but some among them are special as in, they have special needs and they excel in the Art in their own unique, touching, mind blowing manner.
Our special students have Downs Syndrome, hearing impairment, Attention Deficit and such challenges but they are governed here by the greatest Art forms and hence they transcend their limitations and achieve unbelievable heights.
Two beautiful examples of our special achievers are Revathe Thiagarajan & Babli Ramachandran. They have had the Grace of the Lord to even perform their Arangetram/Ranganubhavam on par with any ‘regular’ performer.
